Correct Horseshoeing

So the purpose here is to get some feedback as to not necessarily if its right or wrong. Farriers can sit and argue that all day long.  Is there anything that could be done different, is there something anyone else has tried that has worked better in the same or similar situation.

To level the playing field somewhat. I have shod this horse his entire life, he is now nine. He originally belonged to a horse trainer and then to that trainer's client.  He has been rode hard and put up wet for over seven years now, and shown extensively. He has only shown lameness or soundness issues when I have tried to "shorten" his toe up as per the trainer's request. He has an incredibly broken back pastern axis, I have wondered if he doesn't have a NPA at times, as "normal" or traditional shoeing never changes him. He has been trimmed and shod every 5-6 weeks his entire career. I have never had him radiographed, but admittedly would love to.  Oh, he is a reiner...has perfect hind feet...

This is the second time I have used NB shoes and equithane and wedges....both times are pictured.

Again... criticisms, questions, are all welcomed here.  Just want to hear from anyone.
